A true deep, pink rose that is not only very hardy, but an own root rose to boot. Pink Home Run, like its parent, Home Run rose, is completely resistant to powdery mildew and blackspot. Pink Home Run just keeps getting better; non-stop fragrant flowers and produced all summer long in clusters of five or more. Last summer, not a day passed at our farm when Pink Home Run rose did not have flowers on it, wow!

Winter Protection:

As an own root rose, Pink Home Run just got easier to care for. No winter protection needed other than snow to serve as insulation in the winter. Avoid fertilizing in the fall to prevent encouraging new growth too late in the growing season. In the spring, just trim back Pink Home Run for shape, fertilizer with a balanced organic slow-release fertilizer and water, that's it.

Where to Plant Pink Home Run Rose:

Like its parent, Pink Home Run packs drama when planted in groups of 3 or 5 roses. Create a blooming border by stagger planting Pink Home Run roses, and under planting with white groundcover. The fragrant flowers beg to be near walkways, or patios, and this tough rose will also overwinter in a large patio container or whiskey barrel.
