As with all of our hardy plants and perennials we grow our Proven
Winners® Color Choice® Flowering Shrubs using only sustainable, green gardening,
pesticide-free methods.Becoming a Proven Winners® variety is not an easy task! A new plant variety must prove itself as superior through rigorous field testing in order to get into the Proven Winners® ColorChoice® program. Novelty alone is not enough. Potential varieties are evaluated over a 2-3 year period against existing varieties in side by side evaluations and are graded on the ornamental interest of the plant, the plant hardiness, disease and pest resistance and versatility in the landscape. Only the top plants make the cut at Proven Winners® and at Stargazer PerennialsTM.
